So, you've stumbled upon this page. What is it? What could it be? This is a page for the band Hello Citizen, an upstart little thing based out of Wayne, NJ. Still reading? Good. Okay, let's cut to the chase now. I'm not going to mince words. Listen to the music. If you like what you hear, email me. I'll take any comments/criticisms, so say whatever you want to.

Now, you may be sitting in your big comfy chair scratching your head and wondering exactly who is in this band, and why you should even care. Well, allow me to answer.... This band consists entirely of myself, Ben Wolman. I write all the music, I play all the music (yes, that includes the daunting task of programming the drum machine), and I record it all myself. Anyway I'm not entirely sure what genre my music would fit into...I suppose the closest thing would be Emo. As far as influences go, there was a period of about two years of my life when all I listened to was Nirvana, so that would have to be the biggest influence on me. However, you may be shocked, upon listening to some of it, that my music does not THAT closely resemble the Nirvana-esqueness that you may expect upon reading the previous statement. I've also been heavily influenced by Radiohead, Filter, Everclear, The Get Up Kids, Silverchair, and even a bit of Oasis (I don't want to hear about it if you hate them).
