When I was 6 I used to take my little, dumb, recorder outside and I would sing Boys To Men songs. I was awful, but that was the first recorded information on my interest in music. That same year I started to play the piano and the taiko drums (Japanese drums), which I still play.
When I was in 2nd grade I got a lead part in the "Safety Kids" program, it included dialogue and musical numbers, one of which I had a solo. I also was the "Partridge in a pear tree" in the Christmas program (Yeah me!).
All throughout elementary school I was involved in many music programs, we had an amazing music program through k-6. In 6th grade I started to play the violin.
When I reached Jr. High I sort of dropped the music thing, because my environment had changed so drastically. That summer I got back into music and a dream slowly developed before my eyes. Ever since that's all I have thought about. About the same time family problems erupted and music was my only santuary.
When I was 14, I joined Forever After Ent. and Soda PoP Prod., an online company that distributed my music. I also started voice lessons. During the summer of this year my voice teacher recommended me to get into acting and modeling. I got my headshots and I'm in the process of working with a prestigious company here in my state. I'm also in the middle of my demo, which my voice teacher said is good to have. So that's my life...
